Abode: Claire Crookston

March 31, 2020 Kate Belew with Claire Crookston (Colorado)

I ran for the mountains, hills, whatever
Traded bustling street corners for silent snow-covered paths
Breathing is different here

With every inhale I start to realize
that constellations are just like the small waves in a stream

And with every exhale I find wisdom in knowing

That my body, is my body, is my body and

Wherever my body is, my home is too.
