There is More Water, Always More Water: Gracen Corcoran

March 24, 2020 Kate Belew with Gracen Corcoran (Michigan)

Wait, there is an ocean

always in the background when i would hear your name

I was told waves are soothing but

have you ever heard them craving against a stone wall?

There is so much want.

the tides are controlled by the moon, you know

and I could never really decide what that looked like from space

breathing you in and breathing you out almost always felt like floating

And we are strange buoys you and i

pulling us under the waves into

whatever is underneath, there is more water, always more water.
