Meteor of What is Tomorrow:Matt Jongbloet

April 20, 2020, Kate Belew With Matt Jongbloet (Boca Raton, Florida)

I pushed against the wall of the world here
was this what I had envisaged?
Broken comet, meteor of what is tomorrow
Barren landscape, littered with
lightbulbs. I knew it had to be like this.

Or did it? Was this the start of

whatever we call forgiveness or grief.

Altered? Renewed? All I know is

nothing and I am okay with this.
