A Turn for Strange: Steffi

March 17, 2020 Kate Belew with Steffi (San Francisco)

Things have taken a turn for strange before

in an eerie silence, with concerns evoked.

Blue is my favorite color,

cyan little boxes dance upon distraction.

I missed you in the same way a dandelion would.

Parts of me falling into the gust, relinquishing my crown.

We come together like this, disentangled.

There is not much more to say than hands together, thankful.

Hold on, Iā€™m yours.
